NOW IS THE APPOINTED TIME
Beloved, known unto God are his works from the foundation of the world. “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the Prophets. (Amos 3:7). “And then the Lord replied:’ Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay’”.(Hab. 2:2-3)
Evidently, what we are embarking upon as a Body is truly a vision that has been in the heart of God, which work He had completed from the foundation of the world. In this vision is a mandate clearly spelt, a direction clearly marked out and a destiny to be realised.
The destiny includes all who will embrace the call. We all have a part to play singularly and collectively. In this mandate is the networking of commissions in unity of purpose to muster the people of God for the final onslaught to rescue the perishing, to care for the dying, to snatch them in pity from sin and the grave, to weep over the erring ones, to lift up the fallen and to tell them of Jesus the Mighty to Save, that His kingdom will come and His will be done..
The Lord is at the head of us to break open the way! His banner over us is Love.

As Chair of Fresh Focus Steering Group, I have this honour and privilege to make my remarks in this first edition of our Newsletter.

supporting a Deeper Life Bible Church initiative to be held at Friends' House, Euston Road on 21st -24th October 2009, an event we believe will grow to have an enormous impact in the city of London primarily and ultimately the whole of Great Britain. This initiative has come to stay. Amen.
This year 2009, there will be powerful evangelistic meetings on the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with teaching sessions on the Thursday and Friday afternoons. Speakers confirmed to date include Dr William Kumuyi (Nigeria), Roger Forster (UK), Dr Hugh Osgood (UK), Jill Briscoe (USA) and Apostle Alfred Williams (UK). Worship will be led by Noel Robinson and Dave Bilbrough.
Appeals have been sent to Churches to get involved to make the event a huge success. Please mobilize your members, encourage them to bring their neighbours and friends. You will be making a great evangelistic investment. We want your Church to grow as newly saved members are added to your congregation for you to care for and support in their new life in Christ.
We also want you to encourage your members to attend the Counsellors and Ushers Training Day at the City Temple, Holborn Viaduct, 10am to 3pm on Saturday, 3rd October 2009, which will also help enormously. It will not only increase your sense of participation but their training will be useful to you beyond the event.
Partner churches are also being encouraged to give financially. We want this to be a truly inter-church event. We want you as a church leader to see it as YOUR event.
Let us stand together for Maximum Gospel Impact and see a Fresh Focus come to our capital and nation.
Thank you for your heart to transform our nation through the Gospel.
